Meqyas is an external test designed to assess Arabic language proficiency . . It is a computer-based Arabic language proficiency test measuring student proficiency levels in Arabic against international rating scales such as the ACTFL, ILR, and CEFR scales.

Meqyas is a computer- based test measures student proficiency levels in Arabic. This test measures the student competency in Arabic language against a rating scale that is in line with international standards. Meqyas test is adaptive, allowing participants of all proficiency levels to be accurately assessed.
Meqyas measures student achievement and progress in line with the requirements of international standards: (Common European Framework of Languages (CEFR) and (ACTFL) American Council on the Learning of Foreign Languages standards), as well as UAE standards.
